Application
Metathesis Catalyst Usable in Water Media

Flask equipped with a magnetic stirring bar is charged with Z-olefin (8.7 mg, 0.15 mmol) and non-degassed D2O (1.5 ml). Next to this solution AquaMet (0.6 mg, 0.75 µmol) is added. Reaction mixture is stirred at 25 °C for 1.1 h. Next 0.7 ml of reaction mixture is transferred to an NMR tube. Yield of a product (71%) is determined using NMR method.
