AM-251: A Cannabinoid CB1 Receptors (CB1Rs) Antagonist

AM-251 is a cannabinoid CB1 receptors (CB1Rs) antagonist. In areas of the central nervous system (CNS), CB1 receptors have been implicated in regulation of mood and food intake. Reportedly, CB1 agonists increase food intake while CB1 receptor antagonists reduce food intake. AM-251, a CB1 receptor antagonist, have been shown to antidepressant-like and anorectic effects in rats. (The product is for research purpose only.)
